Ignite your child’s creative spark through photography
“We promote self-awareness, positive self image and creativity. Our photography classes are designed to be fun and ignite that creative spark in all children.”

What We Do
Online Courses
Learning photography effectively requires the right mix of theory and practical application. Our online courses allow kids to confidently learn remotely, understand the mechanics of how to use the camera settings, basic photography techniques and gain valuable feedback on the photos they are snapping.
Workshops
Throughout the year we run a wide range of workshops to guide children in the development of their photography skills, explore their creative talents and provide them with an outlet during school holidays and after school. Click through to find our upcoming workshops.
Corporate Packages
We believe that having your headshot taken for corporate photos should be a positive experience. We bring the same exuberance and expertise to our corporate work as we demonstrate with our much younger clients. Take a look at what we can do to boost your business profile.
We accept Creative Kids Vouchers
What People Are Saying
“You won't find a more professional or engaging activity for the kids! EVERY child loved this activity and Jan managed to get the very best out of each child. The results are stunning! This is why we have Spitting Image back to our service as often as we can. I often recommend Spitting Image to other services.”
— Joni Dunn -Children Services at Inner West Council
“I’ve had the privilege of working with the very talented Jan from Spitting Image Photography, in bringing kids photography workshops to the museum for over 10 years. They have been consistently one of our most popular holiday programs and a fantastic way for young visitors to explore the site through the camera lens. Her expert and effortless delivery of engaging, skill building experiences for young creatives has been consistently wonderful to partner with and continues to receive so much positive feedback from participants in each course. It’s always a delight to see children have newfound confidence in their creative skills as a photographer, to wonder and experiment in their work and to find joy in learning more about photographic practice. Jan is unflappable, always generous, creative and clever, a phenomenal artist and business woman.”
— Annalice Creighton - Program Coordinator at Australian National Maritime Museum
“This is the first holiday activity my children (7 and 10) have come back so enthused from and begging for more. The provision of all the photographic equipment and coming home with framed works and later a USB of all their works was fabulous.
