I have had the pleasure of working with Jan and Amanda in hosting these workshops several times in the past year and again this summer. The workshops have been a great experience for all involved, an accessible and engaging way for the kids to learn new skills, to form creative identities as budding photographers and grow in confidence. Many children have loved these sessions so much that they have attended over and over again. The results are also just stunning- the most gorgeous professional looking photographs! Jan and Amanda are fantastic tutors and have a lovely relaxed style of teaching that the kids respond well to.

My 8 yr old daughter did the workshop last school holidays. She absolutely loved it! Having access to a great camera was really important. She now is developing her interest and looks at taking photos in a new light. The ladies running the workshop were really professional and worked hard to put together the kids portfolios plus sent a dvd with all their work. It was so special having their little gallery opening at the end of the workshop. Highly recommended

My son has done the holiday workshops a few times now at different ages and really enjoyed them. Each time he got something new out of the workshop and he even won a commendation in a photography competition for a photo he took at one workshop.

I would highly recommend this workshop for any kids that are interested in understanding more about taking digital photos or who want to go onto more advanced photography.

You won't find a more professional or engaging activity for the kids! EVERY child loved this activity and Jan and Amanda manage to get the very best out of each child. The results are stunning! This is why we have Spitting Image back to our service as often as we can. I often recommend Spitting Image to other services.

This is the first holiday activity my children(7 and 10) have come back so enthused from and begging for more. Jan and Amanda were wonderful in there instruction and guidance as the girls then found there own way in expressing themselves through photography. The provision of all the photographic equipment and coming home with framed works and later a CD of all their works was fabulous.

- Liz Reynolds from Earlwood

My kids (10 and 14 years old) have both done a number of these workshops and had a great time. The two ladies who take it are great and seem to tailor the lesson to the age and skill level of the kids in each workshop. Highly recommended. LB

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the workshops. She now has a keen interest in photography. She loved learning how to use the cameras and then having lots of opportunity to use the cameras. She was thrilled and excited by the high quality of photos she was able to produce by the end of the workshops.

- Kathy from Homebush

My 6 year old son did a one day holiday workshop with Spitting Image and loved it. He took some lovely pictures at the local park and was so proud to come home and show us his work. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone whose children want to know more about taking photos.

- Justine Hollinsworth from Camperdown

My 12 year old has been to several workshops throughout the years (about 3 years now) and which are held in interesting locations for example the Maritime museum . She has looked forward to each workshop as she has been taught to use different cameras and techniques . Every workshop something new and exciting to achieve. She has put together an interesting portfolio of photographs that she has taken and that she proudly displays and shows to all. She continues to grow her interest in photography thanks to the wonderful team at spitting images photography. She always looks forward to the workshop every time they are available. If your child shows an interest than this is the place to go. Professional, relaxed, interesting and fun for all. I highly recommend these workshops
